I have been coming to Sweden every year for almost two decades and met many fine Swedes. However, with no offese to the approximately 4.5 million other males in Sweden, I do believe that I have been honoured to spend the last two days running with maybe the last two Vikings. Courageous men who take on tremendous challenges. They belong to a very unique lineage including: Leif Eriksson, Eric the Red, Gardar Svavarsson as well as Guthrum and Ingvar. But wait - they are not only brave and courageous for their own good - but they are such on behalf of others (in this case Cancer Patients and their families) - which elevates them to the panteon of "Super Heros!" It was a pleasure and privilege to spend two days sharing the road (and moose) with them.
